The CSI Knoxville chapter would like to thank Amy Barnett-Mohr with Ambius and Eric Westerduin, CEO at Suite Plants for a great lunch and learn on Living Green Walls. Eric travelled from Charlotte, NC to present the concepts of green walls Return On Investment (ROI), Design, installation, planning & maintenance along with a demonstration of several actual living green wall products. The attendees were able to “kick the tires” on two examples of Living Green Walls. We had 10 attendees who enjoyed a large grilled chicken and spinach salad with the “largest blackberries in captivity” and large chocolate chip brownies for dessert. Thanks also to Jeremy Shipp at Johnson & Galyon and Will Dunklin who arranged the speakers along with Leslie Fawaz and Josh Shaffer who have coordinated with CSI to use the East Tennessee Community Design Center conference room for the technical presentations for the past several years.
