The Knoxville Chapter celebrated the Christmas season together with a dinner cruise down the Tennessee River. About the Volunteer Princess CSI members and their spouses enjoyed a delightful holiday meal, Christmas lights along the river, great comradery and holiday beverages. We celebrated our newest CSI Fellow - Gary Bergeron- with a champagne toast. The Christmas tree was surrounded with gifts that each member brought to be donated to Toys for Tots. A great time was had by all! Merry Christmas.

The CSI Family came together at the historic Ramsey House for a candlelight tour and holiday dinner. About 40 members and guests gathered to hear the minstrels entertain us with holiday tunes, enjoyed a wonderful dinner provided by Big Fatty's Catering (thank you Lisa!), and were led through the Ramsey home by docents dressed in period garb. A fascinating evening with good friends, where we learned a bit more about the history of our area. Members brought unwrapped toys to donate to Toys for Tots that Kathy had the honor of delivering to the Marine base on Alcoa Hwy. They were very grantful for this tradition that had started with the Knoxville CSI President Curtis Rosenbaum in 1996. Thanks from all of us go to Will Dunklin who arranged this wonderful evening and to all who worked hard to decorate and stock the Christmas Cheer beverages.

Suzan Jordan hosted the Annual Summer Fun Party at her home again this year on July 6. CSI members brought their families and headed for the lake. After a scrumptous cookout, people settle into their lawn chairs for the fantastic fireworks display. Thank you Suzan for your hospitality.
